Personal Pathology Consulting offers two branches of services:
The patient-centered pathology approach is becoming a highly-demanded service in which patients have the opportunity to discuss their current diagnosis with a board-certified pathologist. While pathologists are a part of the healthcare team, patients may never before had a chance to actually speak with their pathologist. At Personal Pathology Consulting, we choose to engage actively in patient care by providing education directly to patients regarding their specific diagnosis.

New Consultations
It is a fact that most patients do not ever meet their pathologist. At Personal Pathology Consulting, we pursue to bridge the gap between patients' specialists visits. Our purpose aims to establish continuity of care by providing patients with the knowledge and understanding of their diagnosis from a pathological viewpoint. Through personalized education, patients will gain confidence and obtain an increased understanding and awareness about their current diagnosis.

Dr. Kent Newsom
Personal Pathology Consulting's chief consulting board-certified pathologist, Dr. Kent J Newsom, specializes in gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary pathology. Dr. Newsom aims to assist in streamlining patient care from when patients receive their pathology results through treatment. Educating patients about their diagnosis is the reason Dr. Newsom started Personal Pathology Consulting, LLC.
